This is a great flashlight! It's my first Emisar (I've owned a Noctigon KR1 before, which I also liked a lot) and I am very impressed! From the machining, to the choice of accessories and plethora of led emitter options, it's amazing. I opted for the sft70 95 cri 3000k. Has decent throw with the throwy optic (10392), but the standard lens offers a little more even floody spill with a bit less throw and hotspot. Also, if you do get and use the optional 10392 throwy optic just be aware it changes to a smaller squarish spill around the hotspot. I thought that was unique in a really good way though and I actually like it more paired with the narrower spill. All in all, I am very impressed! I will definitely look forward to purchasing more in the future. Thank you so much for such an awesome flashlight!!!
My first Emisar flashlight (I've owned the Noctigon KR1 before though), and I'm thoroughly impressed! This is a great light for anyone looking for a nice balance between flood and spot. The optic it comes with is frosted and leans more toward flood, but does have an option to get a throwy optic (10392) which has an unfrosted magnified center for the spot of the beam. The throwy optic does change the shape of the spill to a smaller square shape, but I personally didn't mind that at all and found that unique in a good way. Really good battery life with the 21700 battery as well. I opted for the SFT 3000k (higher cri), and to me has great color temp and fits the hybrid flood/spot aspect of this light especially paired with one optic or the other. This light has a plethora or different emitter choices though which is awesome. I do wish there was a holster for this light (a little big to edc in the pocket imo) as well as a low profile "z" pocketclip to use as a cap light. Great value and great product! I couldn't be more impressed! Will definitely keep this brand in mind for any future torch purchases. Thank you Hank!
I got one in black with E17A 1750K, and it's a very floody nice for use when you want something that makes an incadescent look blue lol. Nice host as always from Emisar, very good driver, and Anduril is always good.
The light is very floody with E17A, which makes for an amazing indoor, or short-range light. It makes a wide flood of warm, almost amber light. Recommended! I'm already thinking about what my next one should be...
This is my first Hanklight, and my first light with Anduril. I'm very pleased so far.
I went with the red host version with 9*e17a 1850k because I wanted maximum warmth with maximum colour rendering. I am not disappointed with the quality of light. It works great in candle mode. The Anduril UI is less tricky than I feared. I will soon get used to all the functionality. When my budget allows I will be purchasing other Hanklights. I would particularly like a copper version.
Well recommended.
Great driver, excellent XHP LED for brightness and efficiency and the optic does a great job of smoothing it out while providing a perfect flood. Now if we could only get a floody lens on the DM11, I'd buy 2 more of them!
