The boost driver upgrade is available for the quad version of XP-L HI, SST-20, Osram W1/W2, Nichia 219B R9080 versions, each LED receives 2A current. The driver is not compatible with Nichia E21A, Nichia E17A, and mule versions of the flashlight.
Please be noted that the boost driver version will have less output on turbo than the regular version, it is a more efficient driver(90-95%) with longer running time and less heat. Emisar D4V2 puts a high lumen output but generates a lot of heat at the same time, please acknowledge before purchasing. Incredible September 7, 2022
I purchased this light in December of 2020. I have had it for nearly two years now. This light is truly incredible. It was my first copper light. When it showed up it was shiny new copper. Now it has an incredible patina. That's one of the things I love about it.
I got it with the SST-20 4000K emitter. I selected that basically at random because at the time I really knew nothing about any of the emitters in the menu.
Incredible light, the weight might be a turn off for some people, but I love it. It feels so sturdy and like it will be lighting up the dark 1000 years from now. It really feels like a lot of care goes in to creating these lights.

Great light with fun aux leds and feels great in copper January 21, 2021
I reviewed this light on youtube under the same name. Overall its a great light and performs well. I ordered mine with 4 E21A 3500k emitters. The tint is amazing and high cri even better. One thing I would maybe see if if they can switch to a harden clear plastic or somewhat frosted plastic switch boot for the e switch as the flexible rubber in my experience can wear off. That being said its not a negative but a request for a different switch material option. I ordered mine with the 18350 tube and I havent gotten 18350 battery yet. The k9.3 came out and I've since realized that will be my next purchase. This is a great light for edc use if you dont mind the weight of copper.
